I planned to write a feauture about stars and styling. I didn’t wanted to tell which celebrity has the best style or who is the hottest trendsetter. I wanted to write how important your look is if you’re a musician or an actor nowadays: how much work it is to create the perfect ‘Oscar Look’; why the readers from magazines like InStyle or Grazia are often more interested in the appearances of their favourite star than in their actual work. I got style spotted once; sitting on a bench waiting for Girl Talk to perform on stage at last year’s Williamsburg Pool Parties. I have no idea whether the photo was published: The photographer probably had no idea what she was looking for, choosing me out of all the stylish looking Brooklynites. But, Matthew Jordan, male street style blogger and Sydney’s resident Style Tyrant, knows different; with years of experience in the fashion industry and an eye for choosing only the most exceptional looks.
