Berlin formed just a prelude. Subsequent to the London Fashion Week on wednesday we rocked London with the world’s second Blog Slam. The London launch of CIRCUS #1 Fashion took place in the Rag Factory parallel to Paul Bench’s S/S 11 show.

Preperations ran chaotically – as always . Very often Kris and Flo disagreed about the décor:

We were pleased to find some of our contributors among the numerous guests: Shini and Muireann from London, Eva who just moved from Athens to England, Barbro from Norway who had come for the Fashion Week and devoted her time for our Blog Slam and Katie who read out her Fashion Haikus.

The slammers were judged by an independent jury based on originality, concept, delivery and “blogability”. And the jury consisted of Wafa from Sketchbook Magazine, Amelia from Amelia’s Magazine, Ben, Article Magazine, and Chris Osburn.

Fortunately, I didn’t have to be in the jury as I wouldn’t have come to a decision! These winners could each take home a bookazine, the best got a Diana Mini White and the second sunglasses from Le Specs: winners were Toast and Biscuit from The Wed or Dead Wager, runner-up Scalene and Rachel Hills.
